I don't know about calling Corwin an enemy but he's not a friend ether. I think he's just another example of guy doing what's best for himself. I always felt like it's a stab in the back but then again obviously it's the smart business move. It comes down to personal ethics.

The reason people like Corwin , Nelson, Carol Baskin , Rodda, Skippy Snow etc etc etc...............get offers in the first place is because they offer things in return it's one hand washing the other.

There are many guys who talk about their concern and love for the reptile game who would trade places with Corwin in a heart beat and throw everyone under the bus. It's very easy to put on a front and say things when nobody is dangling the carrot in front of your nose. When the incentive is there that's when the real person comes out.

Carol Baskin (Tampa Florida ) is a great example. For those that don't know , Carol Baskin has been a major force behind our current legislative problems. She used to be a private exotic cat breeder until Peta showed her how to play the game. Carol had money , political ties and was in the perfect position to be leveraged that's why Peta approached her and it's been down hill for us ever since.

People hook up with groups such as Peta and the Humane society because they have the winning team. That's where the money and the power is. It's miracle we've gotten away with what we have so far. It's also our saving grace . Things have gone on so long that now there's so many animals and people involved that it makes blanket legislation difficult . Difficult but not impossible. Prepare for and expect the worst that way you'll never be disappointed or caught off guard.

For the animal industry and private owners to really matter it has to be more then just the reptile people getting together it has to be a coalition of the entire live animal trade. Much easier said then done. Right now I look at it as jig saw puzzle if all the pieces are together you have beautiful picture but when the pieces are just scattered you have a mess.
