I use belly heat, and my hot spot is around 92 plus and the cool side is somewhere around 78ish. As long as she can be able to hold a body temp of 86 degrees, your good. I like to be able to see my gravid females move alittle bit. This just lets ME know she has plenty of heat and she is not just sitting on the hot spot trying to get warm enough. Hope this makes sense. I had surgery myself earlier today and i'm still kinda out of it. Good luck. Marshall | ||
