Looking forward to hearing what you find out.
I like the idea of putting the clear over the paint color of your choice. The one "problem" with that is that if you go over matte paint with a gloss clear you end up with a gloss finish. Maybe they have a matte or semi-gloss clear.
And by the way, from what I know of polyurea it should go over a paintable caulk just fine. I think you asked that question to Mark in a previous thread.
When used as a pond liner or truck bed liner the stuff and it's various blends are known for sticking to anything. The problems comes when one trys to get things to stick to the cured coat -- nothing does.
One mountain bike company is painting their carbon fiber bikes with a matte polyurea blend. Customers are finding that they can't stick clearbra or any sort of sticker to it.
Of course this has advantages when it comes to reptile enclosures, obviously. ----- Currently keeping:

0.0.4 Rhynchophis boulengeri
1.1 Philodryas baroni

0.0.1 Rhamphiophis rubropunctatus
0.0.2 Morelia viridis (Aru & Merauke locale types)
1.0 Rhodesian Ridgeback
