Looking forward to hearing what you find out.
So far my inquirey has been sent to their PIM. Waiting to see what comes back.
The one "problem" with that is that if you go over matte paint with a gloss clear you end up with a gloss finish.
90% agree but the other 10% can be affected to a point by the color underneath. A matte earth tone covered with a gloss clear coat will have a lesser luster apearance than say a Gloss Black.
Maybe they have a matte or semi-gloss clear.
From what I'm seeing in the traffic, this is a side project so we may see changes as the product sells well or if not we may see things fad away. Either way we are bound to see changes. I will inquire.
polyurea should go over a paintable caulk just fine. I think you asked that question to Mark in a previous thread.
I did and assumed it would but thought to inquire anyways.
Of course this has advantages when it comes to reptile enclosures, obviously.
Agreed!
Depending on what I hear or discuss with the PIM, I may make a purchase. I have a small melamine test cage I built years go, would be interesting to test a corner and test a ply setup as well.
Getting back to your inquiry of building a ply cage for my big females. I bet I have more HC doors than you atm...so that was my actual intended use. I've been collecting doors for awhile now, got myself a Solid Oak 36" door last week, weighs about 125lbs...
