Hi Scott
I keep my adult females in 6'x2'x18"h cages and the males in 4 footers.
They get large compared to Jungles (soda can size dia.) and 6' closer to 7.
I enjoy MOST of mine.A couple that I have need to be handled more carefully than others
As far as temperament compared to other carpets...I don't know since they are the only ones I keep.
