Hi Brad, Shawn Heflick and I approached Nigel about a year ago regarding this project. For the last year he and I have been researching all available info on Burmese Pythons living here in Florida. This has included field work on our own plus many other folks as well. Additionally we have spoken to many people involved in this proffesionally and we have aquired a lot of knowledge they have kindly shared with us. It is our hope to reveal the actual facts regarding this situation. Nigel is an excellent choice for this task as he is a herper himself as well as concerned as we are about what effect these Pythons and other exotics can have over time on the ecology of the Everglades. In any event our research to date has been interesting and we hope to share it not only with fellow herpers but the general public as well. USARK through Shawn Heflick has taken a leadership role along with myself and it's finally coming to fruition..thanks
