Thanks for your hard work, Tom! (And thanks to everyone else involved.) I've been reluctant to join any group, since up until this post I just didn't see any indication that there was an effective strategy to fight the ridiculous legislation. This is more of a PR issue than a scientific issue. The intentions behind writing letters to politicians and filling out surveys are good, but that's not effective unless also accompanied by playing hardball. A documentary is a great start. I'd like to see more, but I'm pretty much a nobody. I've e-mailed several TV shows (O'Reilly, Glenn Beck show, etc.), but no response so far. It might sound crazy, but I think someone should even bring some large snakes onto some daytime show like Oprah and explain the truth about pythons and what's going on. The "sit back and wait" approach is something I don't agree with, since every time one of those one-sided, BS shows comes on TV saying how killer pythons are taking over the country and is not quickly rebutted, it's another nail in our coffin.
