Well, Mike, since HCU is a state organization, the intricacies of the international trade in pythons have not and likely will not be coming up  ....
As for myself, whatever the answer is to the problem of invasive species, the current legislation in House and Senate is definitely NOT that answer. personally though, I think the best we can hope for in the long run is a situation similar to that under which the exotic bird folks have been operating (quite successfully, I might add!) for a decade and a half.....just my own opinion.
