It can take awhile he is stressed. I would leave him alone for awhile and make sure he can hide to feel safe and he should be eating in no time. Also dont forget they are nocturnal my spectacle would not eat for awhile unless I put the food on the land and just left it there over night he ate it when it was dark and no one could see him.
