Repeated sheds can be a couple things I know of. First, an older shed can be stuck on too long which may induce a secondary sloughing to rid the snake of the skin that could kill it. The other thing it could be is a indication that its being kept too moist and has developed a skin infection which would cause the shed. My advise, hand water(dont leave a dish), wipe down with a paper towel soaked with hydrogen peroxide(to kill any infection), then keep it at 75-80(NO HIGHER)on paper towels.
I think you are likely trying to keep this baby eastern the same way you keep southern or tropical ssp.. right? They are colder weather animals and do better at 78 than 85. Too warm of temps will lead to stuck sheds even with adults.
