Chris and I have discussed this to great lengths. I'm planning on giving it a try pretty soon with some small arboreal snakes and will definitely keep track. Like you said it's ALOT more work to set up but the long term satisfaction would be worth it IMO.

I too would be interested in anyone's experiences with this kind of setup.
