Let's play what if ????

They pass the legislation, what will folks do ???

You could give your animals over to the python concentration camp, take them out to the back yard and cut their heads off, if you only have one, buy a permit. Ask yourself, if you have many, just what will you do ???

Probably most will be law abiding citizens and want to comply with the rules. I have found that most herpers are REALLY honest, no mater what they look like. They love their animals, they will let them go.

Help me here. Just how many species of pythons are there ???
And of them, how many are in cages. If the law is passed they are ALL going to be released. It is just in the nature of folks that care for their animals.

Seems a bit counter-productive to me.

To date nobody has looked at the down side to this...

I do not advocate letting non-native species loose in the US.
I am not suggesting any course of action.
I am looking at the real world.

If the Burms in FL are a problem, the law may well create a new one, much more encompassing than we have now...

Thanks for listening.
