I've had some Ghost/Anery identification issues in the past as well...and it is very hard to tell between a clean anery and a dirty ghost...you really need to know what the parents geneotypes are and it also helps to see the other clutch mates.



However, I have a few good pictures showing comparisons between a dirty ghost and an Anery...when looking at the Anery, you'll notice the entire scale is grey in color...where the Ghost is more white or washed out...tipping has nothing to do with it being a Ghost or Anery.



Also, the females seem to be more prone to tipping than the males...from the same clutch...so that's another factor to consider.
