This shows a single coat, with a second coat only near the bottom.
See how glossy the finish is? Shows all the texture of the wood.
The water pooled up near the top is just that. I threw this in the pool. The finish held up perfectly. Then I scrubbed it with a dish scouring pad, flexed the wood, rubbed sand on it, etc etc. The finish, one coat, is tougher than any polyurethane or paint.
BTW, if you don't use the catalyst that comes with the product, it never really hardens very well, tried that too.
