I share your excitement. My male went off food for almost four months until one day last week he showed a feeding response to when my husband reached in to take his water bowl (he pulled his hand out super quick after seeing that classic S-shaped neck). We grabbed a mouse as fast as we could and he struck it before we could even drop it in the cage. Between now and then he has eaten three more mice and is working on a shed.
