I'm curious

How common is it for a female to not become gravid even though copulations are observed? I have two normal females (2700 g and 3100 g) I've observed both locking up with males (a spider and a pastel het ghost) and I was curious what my chances are of actually striking out and not getting any eggs from one or both of them. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!
