How do I convince my gf to let me?

How do I convince my gf to let me get another snake? I just got a 2008 het albino male, and want to get a female to breed him with. I'm going to the reptile show on L.I next week. I want to get another one, but I know I'll have to walk through the gates of hell to do so. Any suggestions?
