If I remember corectly the way that it was explained to me by Chris a couple of years back is that he has been back breeding a group of animals for several years to produce alterna with greatly reduced black banding... Much like his outstanding line of "Baubles" Pyro's. But, Chris is finding that along with reduced black for some reason the red pigmentation is also begining to wash out, like you are seeing here with your animal. But, I also thought that this group was generic and not any particular local, so i could be off base a bit with my description??



Either way that is a very nice/different looking animal you have there. Good Luck with him!
