A kid that use to work for me found a red sided female in the woods behind their apartment. She ended up having babies. I dont know how many babies she had, but I do know that four of them looked like this one. I assume obviously that the parents were het for this mutation so I would guess that the litter was probably around sixteen. I asked him where the other three like this one were and he said his cat had eaten the other three. I asked him if I could have the last one before his cat killed that one. He said ok. He said that he had released the mom and the normal looking babies back behind their apartment. My friend Rick and I are going to the same locale to collect some females to breed with this one I have which is a male. I plan to collect babies from the area if possible and raise them up so there wont be any sperm retention issues from mature females that may have been bred in the past. This should be a fun project. Thanks for your comments everybody. Mark
