That is what I do for all my racks prob secured to the heat tape. As far as holes in the tubs it is pretty much up to you, I have some tubs with just holes in front and back and some with holes all the way around. It depends on how your humidity is in the room you keep them. More holes less humid and vise versa. Hope this helps..
