My King Won't Eat, HELP Please!!!

I recently aquired 2grey banded kings phase 1 from someone on this site, a male and a female. He said they were a year old but they look like hatchlings, he also said they were eating thawed pinkies. 7 days after having them the female was found dead in her enclosure, no symptoms just dead. The male is ok but he won't eat. He recently shed and he drinks lots of water he just won't eat. I've tried thawed pinkies, live pinkies, tried rubbing them with lizards, Anoles and Geckos, even tried braining them, nothing works. He's a beautiful snake and I don't want to see him die. I believe now the guy got rid of them because they weren't eating as the price for the pair was low and I can't reach him, any suggestions that might save this little guy would be appreciated.....
