While too large of a prey item can cause a regurge, when a prey bulge in a snake rapidly increases in size over the first 24 hours after feeding, this is typically indicative of rapid decomposition. This is usually caused by too high of a cage temperature, and may or may not result in a regurge. What were the temps where this snake was hanging out?
