Hi all,

I have a spectacled caiman that is about 1.5 feet. I recently moved him out of his fish tank starter setup. He is now in a pond built into a platform setup that is about 75 to 100 gallons. The water is about 80 degrees F and the air is about the same and the basking spot is about 85 degrees F. His diet is rodents as the staple. I have seen him have the hair balls from the rodents in his tank but just before I moved him I noticed one ball that seemed clay like and was bright red and since i moved him I noticed one more, just one. Any ideas of what it could be. He still has the same attitude and before I moved him he was eating well but he has only been in his new setup two days so hes not eating yet still nervous i think. He is a scardy croc yet. I have to leave his food on the land and it has to get dark in order for him to eat lol. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Sorry for the lond post just trying to give background info.
