Carol Baskin is a complete fraud . She also a driving force to get legislation past against all of us . She's loaded, well connected ,has a full time Washington lobbyist etc.

She is also a person with so many skeletons in her closet it would be impossible to list them all in one post.

Her BIG Cat " Rescue " is not a rescue. She told story's about how all the animals at her " Rescue " were saved from abusive private owners who could not or did not want to care for them . It was found out that about a hundred of the cats were animals that she had bred to sell and most of the others were purchased from dealers .

In addition she houses animals for Ringling Brothers Circus . They pay her real well for this and build the cages at her place to house their animals . Isn't animal exploitation in circus`s what these people want stopped ?

The Big Cat / Cats on Easy Street Rescue had their Better Business accrediting as a charity revoked but they still operate as as a Florida not-for-profit corporation . How ? Ask Peta their the experts on this scam.

Carol Baskin says she worries hurricanes and other natural disasters could damage cages and fencing, sending deadly animals into the neighborhoods of unknowing residents she lobby's VERY hard against private ownership ..............but

Multiple escapes and mauling's have occurred at her facility. The list of violations over the years is extensive . It's unbelievable the stunts this person has pulled and even more unbelievable how much she has been allowed to get away with .

She tried to get her place AZA approved but failed because the cages were unsatisfactory , the staff were untrained , the place presented a public hazard etc. Her credibility rating is zero .


Carol heads the Humane Societies very powerful political branch and often teams up with Nanci Alexander who lives in FT Lauderdale. For those that don't know Nanci Alexander donates millions of dollars to Peta and is one of their most important supporters. Nanci and Carol have flown around the country doing numerous TV and radio shows trying ban private ownership.


This is just the tip of the ice berg .
