new to this site. i have always been around just now signing up.

I live in new york state. unfortnate in itself. i have kept burmese pythons as well as rattlesnakes for years prior too nys new law. successfully bred many of them. this was added bonus to something i allready loved. it was taken away by the govt. so now a couple years later me and my family are in position to make a move. want to do this for a few reasons. weather, lack of freedom given by the state, high taxes, not being able to keep exotics etc etc.

Criteria for moving, wife and kids want to be warm and near the saltwater. my criteria is a state that doesnt have there heads in there buts. seems to be getting harder to find. started with texas. coastal areas are kind of trashy. please dont take offense. just a opinion. anything thats not trashy id have a hard time affording. and texas laws seem to be changing not sure for better or worse.?

looked into florida and now theres the issue with the burmese there. people need to get there heads out there a$$ when it comes to exotics.

the fact is there here and there is many more responsible owners than irresponsible. there not a ton of difference in exotics to cats and dogs. there are good and bad. the govt has seen fit to put orgaanizations in place to handle unwanted and strayed dogs and cats. why? more socially acceptable? i am sure if the statistics are checked there are many more accidents, deaths and injuries caused by "domestic pets" than exotics based on percentages. i dont mean to ramble just fed up, and dont know where to go. btw i have contacted representatives in every state at every time one of these dumb bills is presented. so i dont just sit back.

thanks for listening
