Rusty colored hognose playing dead

I was shooting some hognoses outside today when my red female started playing dead. There is blood coming from her vent and mouth, which worries me. Is this normal?



She is a large hog, and is usually not this freaked. It seems that as soon as she and the rest of my hogs get outside they start to almost revert back to there wild side.
