The only real difference in Salmon Boas and Hypo Boas is from who and where or what Boa stock they originated from in the U.S.

The salmon Boa originated with Rich Ihle.

The Hypo- orignally called Orangetail many still are referred to as orangetail.

Was brought into the country and bred by Dr. Hardy(Panama was country of orign).

Both lines appear to be Dominant producing Heterozygous(normal visual Hypo or Salmon ) as well as Homozygous versions( Super form of Hypo or Salmon)

Basically they are the same genetic anomaly.
