I get a 40 pound bag of cypress mulch for the same price as a 3 pound brick of that crap. Cypress mulch holds water better and if you have a lot of herps it's much more cost effective. Some people swear by bed-a-beast but I've been using my stuff for years without any problems. Best place to do herp shopping is at a wholesale agricultural store or home depot.
