I really like this pair. Anyone that has talked to me about Peruvians knows what I like to see - Gold/yellow top, uniform thin pinched saddles, contrast, and clean background. This pair about sums all that up for me. The male breed my big Jeff Ronnie female this year (man I'm hoping to see some babies from that). Next season I hope to put these two together, but I might give her one more year. I'm not going to rush her.

I took these photos yesterday right after I took photos of the group of Pucallpa babies. If I had waited to see how the sun washed out the color I would have take more of these in the shade or waited until the sun was behind a cloud. The females pics I took (when she crawed into the shade) are by far the best of any of these photos for showing color. The male actually has more of a gold top than the female - you sure cannot tell by these photos .

Again - credit goes to Gus for producing these.

Female

Take care and thanks again to Gus and Joe.
