Here's one for you, Orlando. Nice looking animals you have there.
How's it goin', Bill. Haven't spoken to you in a while. Hope all is well. The Brazilians that are named "North Brazilians" came from a shipment brought in back in the eighties. There was no data as to where exactly in N. Brazil they came from. The Brazilians that are designated as being from Belem came from a different shipment that Tom Crutchfield brought in (I'm pretty sure on that fact but not 100%). These boas were specifically from the Belem area. From that shipment, animals were purchased by Steve Hammond as well as others. The animals in that shipment had many different "looks" to them. It's from that shipment that we get our Belems today. The boas from Brazil have many diffrent appearances and what we have in this country is only a very small sample of the highly variable appearances of the BCC's from Brazil. Take care.-----RON
