Hoestly I'm not sure, at close to adult I know they are less sensitive to lower humidity. Probably not a light switch at a certain age, IMO is likely to do with size, as they get bigger they are less affected by environmental chenges.
To be totally honest I don't measure humidity, never have, don't even own one single hygrometer of any kind. I simply provide higher humidity by cage design, no misting either (except occasionally to help a shed)!!! ----- Thanks,
