well had my female bull to the vet today she gave her a good check over everything seemed normal apart from when she squeezed the snakes bck end and a great blob of goo popped out and squirted all over the table. anyways she gave her a dose of flagyl which will last for up to 10 days.

i went bck to the store where i purchased her and informed them what the vet had done. I asked them a few questions like had you ever noticed anything of about her excretion they said no but i would have to check bck on friday with the lady who actually cared for the snake for the 6 weeks she was there.

also added that to have the sample sent of to the lab it was going to cost around £65 and asked if there would be anything they could do to subsidise this they said i have to talk about it on friday with the lady mentioned above.

they guy i spoke to also added that on saturday(28/3) when i picked her up she had defecated and this was quiet normall and very large(as she had eaten on the 23/3) and very smelly (nothing i wouldnt expect from a bull)

so its looking most likely that stress from the move/change of enviroment has caused this.

my question is if it is stress related will it go away in its own time once she settled in or do i need to get those results bck and treat it?

sorry about the long post but a few people wanted updating on this and i feel better informinmg so i can get peoples opinions.

Regards cheesey
