Yes, they do radiate down to the floor, soft gentle heat.



Yes I do see them perched on the rim of the bowl getting closer to the heat.



Rarely do the bowls get tipped, maybe more than I know as there is not enough vertical room for them to completely tip over. Only if they get slid off the hide box - very rare!
