Posted by: brhaco at Thu Apr 9 15:45:25 2009 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by brhaco ] I'm by no means the most experienced simus breeder out there, but I've noticed mine take their sweet time about it. They've been our of brumation since the last week of february, and one female just had her first shed yesterday, the other is just going opaque. Today was the first day I saw any serious breeding interest-twitching and chasing, but no hookup yet. All my hognose, western as well as southern, seem to take a bit more time to get with it than the kings and milks (we already have over 60 corn, king, milk and bull females gravid at the moment-in fact I've seen a few prelay sheds this week!)....Hope this helps, just hang in there and feed 'em and breed 'em! | ||
