I once had a nominant deppei with similar pattern. With those genetics it is not hard to imagine the short hop over to lineaticollis patterning! I think that there is a low elevation population of lineaticollis that has similar joined or linked saddles.

Non of my deppei really have any aberrancy to them,although as you know i have hatched funky striped/aberrant ones in the past that just didn't survive long.
I'm certain these traits remain somewhere within my stock with the Lemke bloodlines.

I'd have to agree there are definately shades of lineaticollis about that patterning.
Guess it makes sense for the low level pops to have a patterning that fits their surroundings,especially in terms of camoflage.
