Even though you don't really have to, you just want to make sure your lights are closer to the beardie. The UVB light a bearide needs only works within 20" and if you use any screen it cuts out like 50% of the UVB. You really want the beardie to have access to this light at all times your lights are on. The bulbs do not create as much UVB as the sun does so that is why you have it on for your whole light cycle. The only other down side to having a cube like enclosure is that its harder to have a high amount of different temps ranges(as in hot 110 to cool 80). Good luck though! | ||
