The only truly illegal animals were the monitor lizards and the crocodilians. It is illegal to maintain carnivorous lizards in the city of Milwaukee. The snake law is written more discretionary. It is up to the opinion of the police officer at the time of arrival. This can be subject to improper caging for a species (ie too small or escapable of larger species or things such as venomous snakes). All of the animals appear to be in good health however it was suggested that one of the snakes is sick.

So basically everything was seized because of the owner having illegal lizards. All but the Nile Crocodile have been transferred out to rescue.
