My first litter of 2009 dropped today. Looks like two healthy babies, two more with large yolks (jury out on those two for sure), 5 stillborn preemies and 11 slugs. Mom is fine, even gave me a little attitude when I opened the cage. I'm thinking she'll get next year off.
This was an odd year for her, not by any book I've read, I had her due date at either 02/17 or 05/14 from her sheds, duh, both were wrong!!
Oh yeah, this was Candy (Pastel CBLT), bred by a young male Van (Cherry Salmon). Will keep you updated on the four live ones. ----- Thanks,
Dave Colling
