RE: Genetics of Snow Gophers

The gopher species I am familiar with all have snow being the combination of aney and amel. Also as far as I know in all the varieties of gopher both of those traits are recessive. Hope that helps, I'm sure others with more experience will chime in. The only type I currently work with are Pacific Gophers(pituophis catenifer catenifer).
