Jeremy ... I am wearing a T-shirt right now that says "NEVER NEVER QUIT" ... I used to wear it to my son's swim meets through his college days (NCAA Div III - 4th in the Nation 2 years in a row). Anyways, I apply the same thinking to my reptile endeavors.

THEN (1978): When my wife and I were newlyweds, I used to beg her for an entire month to let me spend $200 on a pair of kingsnakes. Also, I had to raise and hussle mice to the local pet stores to raise the money.

NOW (2009): After 30 years of marriage, the last boa I purchased was in the neighborhood of $15,000 (all Cash, NO trade).

The really neat thing was a moment just a couple nights ago ... while watching Survivor they naturally showed a snake up in a tree flicking its tongue ... and my wife yelled out "Emerald Tree Boa" ... I instantly applauded her and ran over and gave her a Hi 5 ... You've Gotta Love It!
