Where do I get the day old baby chicks or baby quail? Or some very small eggs, even smaller than pigeon eggs?

I have an extremely finicky Great Basin Gopher snake from the Oregon High Desert, that has eaten baby birds before, but I no longer have access to any nests to raid. Besides, in my county it is illegal to harass the quail in any way. The quail out-number the humans, and have more rights than the people.

This is the start of the annual short period of time that my snake will even consider eating. I need to find something to feed my GB Gopher snake, other than rodents, since I am no longer allowed to possess any rodents; either alive or frozen.
