lobbiest as PIJAC has done for some time and USARK has just done with the employment of Mr. Wolfe is NOT cheap. The majority of us both in the Herp Industry and in the private sector are many times cash poor but have a lot of assets that if they pass this bill will overnight be worthless. I've been working closely with USARK for some time now on all the problems associated with fighting this bill and others. What USARK needs more than anything else is the ability to fight on the same playing field as our adversaries. Unfortunately this cost money and a LOT of it. That's something that with our economy in shambles is harder and harder to obtain. I've been trying to think of a way I could help more than I have already. What I intend to do is to pledge 5% of our gross sales at the Expo in Daytona to USARK. This percentage won't kill us financially and if things go well could be a reasonable amount of money. I'm asking that others of you out there do the same. If we all collectively donate a small percentage of our gross to USARK it will make a tremendous difference in their ability to fight this proposed legislation and other bills to come. Rest assured this will not end with this bill win or lose. So I'm begging all of you but in particular those of us that do this as a proffession to pledge a percentage. The amount should be whatever you deem is reasonable for you but please give something. We have to band together in order to continue to exist. Thank you in advance for reading this and hopefully becoming a participant in this important matter....
