Yes. I didnt know about it till recently either. How many people that have a parakeet, salt water tank, or a kingsnake for their kid do you think realize whats going on? Not many at all..



It has to be portrayed as this representative from Gaum(wtf??) is trying to put thousands of pet stores out of business and thousands of people out of work in the States. People have to realize they wont be able to buy a Hamster for their kid, or a turtle for the pond in their yard...



It has to be made to look stupid. In a way they made a mistake by making this bill so all encompassing. It is an easier target. People should call their local papers and say "I had a parakeet when I was a kid, and now this politician from Guam wants to make it so I cant get one for my kid when he is seven. Doesnt congess have bigger, more important things to worry about than closing pet stores - ridiculous!"



Call your local congress person and senator and say, "Why are you trying to take away my tropical fish? I love my fish" & " Maybe we should get rid of you instead senator"



You have to make it seem stupid, the whole thing.
