I think that based on this statement ,



" Senior Democrat staff from the House Committee on Natural Resources advised Subcommittee Chair Madeleine Bordallo that if she wants something to go forward she will have to go back to square one and draft a new bill. Then have another subcommittee hearing. "



HR669 is presumed dead. In all actuality this bill as written was never going become law. No how No way. The importance of our letters and phone calls was to let whoever's going to be working on the revised version of HR669 by whatever name it's introduced that we're here and we're not going to be pulled around by the nose. I think what the activist wanted from HR669 was to be able to quietly sit down with the major players of the pet trade and get a deal done that would crush private exotic owners. Didn't happen. We crashed their party.
