Posted by: domingos at Tue Apr 28 18:39:17 2009 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by domingos ] My juvenile hog has "awoken" from his winter nap and will take a pinky one week, miss a couple of weeks "with a hissy fit" and then eats once again. Is his aggressiveness associated with this time of year? I figure as long as he is eating once in a while, things are okay. Temps are right and I haven't disturbed him too much. I find that when he is fed when burrowed, he will not eat (he is removed from the enclosure and placed in a deli cup). When soaking the heat up out in the open, he will readily eat when placed in the deli cup. I figure its just his disposition. [ Hide Replies ]
