RE: Non Tongue flicking baby

I have seen two cases where a hatchling had a tongue but was unable to "get it out". In one case, the hatchling eventually was able to get the tongue out but only after quite a long time of assist feeding.



I was told it's a calcium deficiency but I'm not so sure.
