i have a small rat colony of about 8 females and one male and the stink is getting a little obvious. i have plug ins and light yankee candles in the day to mask the odor but lately i just cant get rid of it? i keep them at my job and so i can not have them smelling to bad. i use equine fresh as bedding i change bedding every 5- 6 days and sometimes keep the garage door open for fresh air but now that the heat is coming thats when it stinks. what can i do? i can not put windows i have ceiling fans to circulate the air but i think its just circulating the stink. i wish i could put a ceiling exhaust fan but my brother who is also my boss wont allow me to. i think that would be my best bet a small ceiling exhaust. the building is one of those pre fab buildings with those plastic type ceilings? any suggestions please! thanks.
