I have 2 Garter snakes i just got last week. Right now they are in a 20gl high tank with heat lamp, a metal screen top, dirt on the bottom, fake plants, logs and a water dish/pool. Now I will be getting a 50gl retial tank with one of those slide screen tops will that be ok for them? Also it come with a heat pad so will that be ok at night and heat lamp durning the day and shpould i have them both on one side?
