It is not cruel or inhumane to keep reptiles in captivity.

If is a fallacious argument that any tropical or subtropical reptile, if escaped, has the potential to establish a harmful feral population in areas of such Northern latitudes, climate, seasonal weather extremes, and terrain as Norway. Tropical and subtropical reptiles would not be capable of surviving in the wild long enough to establish any viable self sustaining feral population.
