You should be able to find sterilite or rubbermaid shoe boxes that will fit in your hovabator. I used hovabators for 2 years before turning a bathroom into a walk in incubator and had perfect results. They work fine for small clutches, but if the clutch is too big, you need an expansion ring which gives you an additional 1-2" height (Don't remember exactly).
You will need to use the lid to keep the humidity in the tub, otherwise the eggs will dry out quickly.
